This class is adaptable so that all levels of practitioners can immerse themselves in this gentle experience.

The goal in the space is to slow down ones body, expectations, and thoughts to be fully present and in the moment.

So come relax, take some deep breaths, and let me guide you through an experience that will nourish the soul.

This class is weekly on Mondays at 5pm and is available for YMCA members.

Intermediate Yoga

Intermediate Yoga will build off the skills learned in gentle yoga, and allow you to deepen your relationship to your body and your practice.

You will be guided though calming breathwork, meditation, and poses that will aid you on the journey of self-love. This is a flowing Vinyasa Yoga practice, which is a gentle space, but will give you the option to build some heat.

This class is offered weekly at 6pm and is available for YMCA members.

Family Yoga

This 55 minute long class for the whole family is a fun way to practice yoga that engages the children and gives the parent a chance to practice on the mat. The class will be a mixture of poses, yoga games, breathing and relaxation that is age appropriate and fun for the whole family.

Bring yoga mats or a blanket for the family to practice on, some comfy clothes, a water bottle and a smile!

This drop in class will be held at Gotta Dance Studio and will be $20 per family to attend.

The class is Thursdays in April from 11:00 - 11:55

Slumber Party Yoga

Slumber Party Yoga will get you nice and relaxed at the end of the day. This class focuses on movement, breathwork, and meditation that will help you soften the body and mind so that you can drift to sleep when the class is done. 

This class is recommended for elementary ages children, but is open to all. So bring the whole family! No previous yoga experience is necessary.  Just make sure you are wearing some comfy PJ's, bring your favorite stuffy (or two), and a water bottle. 

This class is FREE and is offered remotely Sundays in March from 7pm - 8pm

Come explore the tools of mindfulness and meditation in a space that is inviting of someone beginning their mindfulness journey or the seasoned yogi. This class will give you the foundations of mindfulness and meditation and then build off of that to give you specific practices that you can take with you off the mat and use in your day to day life. You will leave this space with the tools necessary to create balance during times of stress.

Body Love Yoga is about falling in love with your physical form. To honor and praise it. To find a deep appreciation for it. You can be at any stage of a relationship with yourself to come to class. You may know you are a divine being gracing this earth with your presence, or you may be experiencing guilt or shame about the skin you're in. Either way, this class will help you remove the blocks keeping you from loving your body and support you on your journey of body love.

I will guide you though calming breathwork, meditation, and poses that will aid you on the journey of self love. observation with judgement will set the mood for this flowing Vinyasa Yoga practice. This class is a gentle space, but will give you the option to build some heat.

Class is available in-person for members of the Medina YMCA from 6-7pm

Adaptive Yoga

Come join a space that is tailored to meet numerous adaptive and neurodiverse needs. We will work with the foundation stones of breath work, mindfulness and movement to create a safe and cohesive environment. Guardians and caregivers are welcome to attend the class as well so that growth and healing can happen simultaneously. 

Kaylin of Mindful Tradition has spent over a decade teaching the adaptive community and looks forward to expanding on the adaptive offerings at GLOW through the Teaching for Equity Grant.

This class will be an 12 week offering so that attendees have the opportunity to practice and expand their skills. By the end of 12 weeks one can expect to carry their new tools off the yoga mat and out into the world, helping with focus, memory recall, embodiment, Mind Body Awareness, de escalation skills, body positivity and more.

This is a beginner level class and open to everyone FREE of charge.

Mind Body Connection Summer Series

Mind Body Connection Summer Series

Come join us for a three hour workshop that will ground and connect you to the height of summer energy.

We will open the space with Forest Bathing and a mindfulness sensory experience. Forest bathing is a Japanese practice of walking meditation in nature, this experience will be enhanced by the invitation to experience all 5 senses outside.

Next you will be led through a creative wood cut rainbow catcher art project. This is a no rules, no judgement, creative space where you will feel empowered to follow your creative intuition. You will leave the workshop with a finished piece of art to bring home with you.

This is an outdoor event so bring comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. We will host this event rain or shine and provide refreshments.

Bring beads, talismans, dangly thingies, anything you would like to hang from a mobile. For example: a pine cone, broken jewelry, seashells, beads, or anything else you want to get creative with.

All artist supplies will be provided.

Goddess Circle

July Theme: Connection

A Goddess Circle is a safe and sacred space for women to gather and connect to the rhythms of the moon. Together we will create ceremony and reverence around this powerful time of the month, the full moon.

I will lead you through a yoga moon flow, with lead meditation and breathwork to help you connect to these rhythms that you are naturally attuned to. Participants will then gather together in a circle to talk about the connection between women and the moon, and have a journaling practice to explore how these themes emerge in your life, and a ceremony for highlighting our connection to the moon and each other.

You will leave the space feeling empowered from the process of bring part of a circle that honors each participant, better in tune with your own natural cycles, and with a sense of sisterhood and connectedness.

Ladies will need to wear comfy clothes you can move freely in. Please bring a journal and writing utensil.

There will be light snacks and sangrias, and you get to see the studio!!

Learning to destress: A course for Neurodiverse individuals and their caregivers

In this course you will learn proactive ways to avoid stressful situations, how to identify triggers, how to make personalized goals for meeting goals, and exercises for maintaining mindfulness. You will also get digital handouts for all exercises so that you can continue to practice and use the exercises as needed.

This course is intended to be attended by both neurodiverse individuals and members of their care team so that through a mutual understanding of shared information a team can choose what tools they want to implement for life changing results.

Come prepared with an open heart, and a comfortable place to sit or lay down while you do this life changing work.

This course is 29.99$

5 scholarship spots are reserved for BIPOC and 5% of proceeds will be donated to the Ganondagon Tribe.
